New U Physical Therapy is a modern and newly equipped facility founded by Dr. Boris Polonskiy, MS, DPT in 2007. Boris earned his master's degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Staten Island in 2005. He then went on to complete his doctorate degree at Des Moines University/Medical School of Iowa in 2008. Dr. Polonskiy’s post-graduate education also included Australian Manual Therapy and numerous other continuing education courses. His experience includes 4 years of working as a Personal Trainer in Bally Total Fitness prior to attending physical therapy school. As well as over a year working in Brooklyn Hospital Center with a wide range of orthopedic and neurologic diagnoses upon graduation.
