Dr. Burnikel grew up in northeast Iowa. It was there that he discovered he wanted to pursue a career in chiropactic. 'I was fifteen when I had my first experience with chiropractic. I had injured my neck and upper back during a wrestling match. After two days of strong pain and no relief with traditional medicine, I decided to try a chiropractor. I was amazed with the immediate relief I had experienced. It was at that moment that sparked an interest to pursue a career in chiropractic'. Dr. Burnikel earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 1998. During his career, he has practiced in Minnesota, North Dakota, as well as 5 yrs in the United Arab Emirates (Middle East). In 2006, Dr. Burnikel and his wife moved back to the U.S where he started Lifestyle Chiropractic Center in Burnet, TX. Since then, he has helped thousands of people overcome injuries and regain their health through chiropractic. He has a true desire to help others reach their desired health goals.
