Dr. Jozef Verhaert is originally from Belgium, Europe. He was born in Geel, Belgium on January 7th, 1960. He obtained a bachelors degree in Physical Therapy in 1982 from Mechelen, Belgium. Dr. Verhaert then moved to the United States in 1984 and completed his Doctor of Chiropractic studies at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He was a member of the Faculty at Palmer College of Chiropractic, Lead instructor for Physical Therapy I and II and also served as the department head for Physical Therapy Clinics at Palmer College. He completed a 2 year internship in private practice in Louisianaand moved to Texas to start his own clinic. He has been in practice in Waxahachie for 18 years. He served for 3 years on the board of advisors for 'Diagnostic Testing Centers of America', a nationally leading company in the field of Neuro-Diagnostics. His main interest still lies in clinical practice and helping patients lead a healthier and more enjoyable life. He accomplishes this through a combination of Chiropractic care, advanced non-surgical treatments such as spinal decompression, and quantum nutrition to affect patients' weight and health in a safe and very effective way.
