As a senior and in the prime of his health, he suddenly fell ill. A debilitating illness that nearly prevented him from graduating. Numerous sick days and doctor visits without an apparent diagnosis or answer. Dr. Pennell states, 'At that moment, was when I chose to be a doctor.' 'To find the answers to the why?, the when?, and the how? to health and to sickness.' After high school and still dealing with his illness, Dr. Pennell dedicated his life to health and to his education in understanding the root cause of disease. In his collegiate career, he majored in Biology with a pre-medical concentration. In the course of growth, he discovered the speciality in healthcare he wanted to pursue that focused on physical medicine and optimal health through the use of nutrition, structural realignment, and lifestyle change. His doctoral career began at Parker University, where he grasped the tools necessary to diagnose, treat, and address musculoskeletal conditions.
