Benitez, MD is graduate from Universidad del Valle in Colombia and completed his training in Family Medicine at Texas Tech University in El Paso, where he fell in love with the city of El Paso and decided to open his practice in 2010. Before coming to El Paso Dr. Benitez worked as a researcher in Dermatology where he wrote several papers and was able to present a poster in the American Academy of Dermatology.</p><p>After practicing traditional medicine for many years Dr. Benitez specialized in Hormonal Replacement Therapy and became a Functional/Integrative Medicine trainee, since then Dr. Benitez has been integrating traditional medicine with nutrition and metabolic optimization to better help his patients to achieve good health and wellness.</p><p><br></p>
