Dr. Eric Wu was born in Austin, Texas and spent his early childhood in Garland, Texas where his grandparents looked after him. An acupuncturist, his grandfather ran a small Traditional Chinese Medicine clinic with the help of Grandma. The powerful aromas and pungent herbs are still ingrained in Dr. Wu’s memory since being a toddler. In particular, one memorable ingredient drawer contained the dried exoskeletons of bees. It was during these first years that he was exposed to the doctor-patient relationship and excellent bedside manner of his grandfather. Watching patients get well on a daily basis helped guide Dr. Wu toward helping others.In order to get patients well and stay well, Dr. Wu practices using a gentle adjusting technique and treats the source of the problem rather than the symptoms alone. He looks forward to serving the communities of the greater Austin area with his passion, enthusiasm, knowledge, and hands-on natural healing approach. In addition to English, Dr. Wu also speaks competent Spanish and Cantonese with Mandarin Chinese and Vietnamese translation available.
