The Medlin Law Firm Case Wins:  DWI w/ BAC O/.17 – Not Guilty by Jury

Client was stopped by Keller Police Department for running a red light. Client had 3 open containers in the car. She later failed field sobriety tests and was arrested for suspicion of Driving While Intoxicated. Client then was interviewed and admitted to being intoxicated. She gave a breath test of .147 and .153. Later at Trial in Tarrant County, Texas Courthouse the State’s expert claimed our client was likely a .17 blood alcohol content at the time of driving. After a two-day trial, our client was found Not Guilty by the Jury. The jury did not believe the breath results after the State’s witness was exposed as promoting junk science.
