Although the card cant play as a CDM for chemistry purposes, you could definitely see this as a top choice for a CDM in a 4-2-2-2 or as a box-to-box in a more narrow formation. These led to EA Sports BIG, which dealt in street sports and other xtreme things, where big, unrealistic, gravity defying tricks were dominant and fouls were never called. We even had BMX XXX, so xtreme it needed four Xs, which was basically Tony Hawk Underground but on bikes and even cruder. It was not good, but I miss it all the same.
These games led to a birth of arcade titles, and while some of these were fluffy Mario does a sport affairs, others at least pretended to be rougher and tougher, emphasising fouls and underhanded tactics to gain an advantage. This Is Football, an ostensibly realistic football sim in the style of MMOexp FIFA, even allowed for deliberate fouls and deliberate dives. These days, we see elements of this spirit in places (Rollerdrome, the upcoming Bomb Rush Cyberfunk), but even the unrealistic sports games like Switch Sports and Olli Olli World are all about chill vibes and having a good time.
