  • The 12th class should be held by any recognized Central/ State Board, for example, CBSE, NCERT, New Delhi etc.

  • Examining the final two-year training course at the Joint Services Wing of the NDA (National Defence Academy) 
  • The HSSC is conducted through the National Institute of Open Schooling, which requires a minimum of five subject areas and 75 percent criteria in JEE mains

JEE Main Eligibility Criteria- Number of Attempts

Candidates who passed the class 12 exam in 2022 or 2023 or will be appearing for their 12th class exam in 2024 may be a part of JEE Main 2024. The JEE mains attempt limit for Candidates who had completed their 12th class exam in 2021 or are expected to be in class 12 later than 2024 will not be able to participate in the examination according to JEE Main 2024 eligibility criteria. In 2024, JEE Mains will take place twice during January and April.

JEE Main Eligibility Criteria 2024: State of Eligibility

The term "State of Eligibility" under JEE Main 2024 eligibility criteria is the state in which the applicant has completed the Class 12 or a similar qualifying exam so that the candidate is qualified to participate in JEE Main 2024. JEE Main Eligibility for Appearing in JEE Advanced

The minimum eligibility requirement to be eligible for JEE Advanced is that candidates must have taken part in JEE Main and scored the minimum cutoff scores as determined by NTA. So, ensure these requirements are fulfilled before preparing for the JEE Syllabus 2024

Candidates must also be among the top 250,000 candidates according to merit on the Common Rank List to participate in JEE Advanced 2024.
